Edith says: "This is based on a line from Wordsworth. I painted a couple of hares because a friend was moving to live and work in Wordsworth's house. I gave her one, and this is the other. Seeing hares in the wild as a child made me forever love their extreme ears and woody movements. I am also intrigued by their associations with witches in folklore."
